The Grupo Nova (Nova Group in English), commonly abbreviated as NOVA, is the second largest television broadcaster in the Guanabara. NOVA has a network of 3 channels (Nova Sports, Nova Life and Nova Cinema) broadcasting different programmes and is accessible to more than ten million viewers. Most of its programmes are a mixture of sports, news, documentary, social education, comedy, entertainment, and drama.
It has the second largest audience of Guanabara losing only to the RTG.
